On 3rd December 2012 twelve scouts from Meteor and Pegasus where presented with their Chief Scout Gold certificates by Chris Kenny, the Chief Fire Officer and Carl Hankinson, County Commissioner for West Lancashire. Three other scouts also obtained the award but were unable to attend the presentation.
